Default st350 brakes

Tuning up the cart. Changed the spark plugs, air filter, and fuel filter. It was still running kind of rough due to sitting for 6 months or maybe the cold weather. I had it in neutral reving the engine when it popped into gear. Luckily the brakes caught it but now my brakes will not lock in place or stop very well. Is there an arm that acts like a catch under the pedal for these brakes that will lock the pedal or how does it work? Haven't had a chance to get under the cart yet but hoping nothing is damaged too bad. How are the brakes assembled in the rear? Are they like most other drum type brakes?

The brakes are very simple mechanical drums types like you find on old cars, just smaller. If you look in the manual you can find a break down of the system, i'm not sure what's going on with yours but it maybe cable/adjustment related, you'll need to inspect the system to find out.

A couple of PMs explaining what to look for? I thought the idea here was to put the info out on the board so everyone could share and benefit?

Couple of pm's from Radicalgolfcarts. He was helpful and offered to let him know if I needed any parts. I figure I've broken something and may need some parts. I'll post what I find. LTR.
