rxp, where did you purchase your batteries from back then and how did they work out? I'm also in Clearwater and looking to update my 6 8 volt batteries

FloridaGirl these Powertron batteries sale for under $500 now. They are a great battery but not as good as the Trojans.

I am a Authorized Trojan dealer here in SC and I am here to tell you Trojan most definitely makes the powertrons. The biggest difference is the warranty Red Trojans come with a 18 month warranty and the black box/ Powertrons come with a 12 month. I have installed these in 50+ carts personal and customer and I haven't had a complaint yet.
