Default EZGO with doublecarbs.......

Hello to all who love experiments...

I saw a 350EHC with 2 carbs on it.
How is that done?
Simple, on each exhaust a carb and on the inlet a exhaust.
Get 2 new exhaustvalves and put them in place of the exsisting inletvalves.

It goes like hell!
But not for long.
The problem is that with our high revs (9.000) the enginehead is going to melt down.......
It does around the new exhaustport and around the valves.

Another way is two carbs, a little one and a bigger one on the xisting inletports.
Let them work like a registercarb.
First the little for about the halfway and then quick the big one.
It gives a little more on the bottom and on top, but isn't worth all the trouble installing it.

What people can do for a little more power, madness....

Oh, my engine does 27 to 28 HP on the wheels.
Tested on a rollerbench for bikes.
That will be about 30+ on the cranck

Just get a double barrel (double downdraught) carb with sequential activation. You have to fabricate an intake/carb manifold to fit.

Hello Kogieblack,

You are right, but...... try to find a little doublebarrel....
One from a car is far to big.
These couse to low airspeed so lack of gas in the mixture!

Its the same effect as you build in only one to big carb.
On my engine the biggest one is about ventury 22 mm.
With a bigger one you have to have a silk gasfoot.....
My engine is finetuned on continiusly high airspeed at higher revs.
When i give full throttle from standing still on the mechanic cart, it burps like a drunken sailor.
When i am driving at more than 2500, it's rather okay.
Over 4500, no problem.
