How to adjust electrical sounding click when you press gas
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me where you adjust whatever makes that electrical click and the golf cart starts up when you press the gas pedal. It was perfect, but something is off now and it is clicking alot where i usually cruise with the gas pedal pressed in at. Thank you |

first off what cart are you on? and its most likely a throttle cable adjustment, you prob need to adjust it so the throttle opens on the carb AFTER you hear that click, and the starter gen startes up.

Lift the floor mat and then the sheet metal access panel by the gas peddle ... you will find the micro switch, maybe it is coming loose?

Thank you for the additional info ..... can you back off on the governor adjustment and tell us if the problem resolves itself?

Re: How to adjust electrical sounding click when you press gas
the cable adjustment from petal to gov. is under that sheet metal by the petal, and the cable from gov to carb adjustment is by the carb. might have to do a little on both.
also backing off on the gov a bit might do it if you adjusted it too far |
