try the engine compartment adjustments first.... you should be able to sort it out there as sabercat indicates

No need to pull the rivets. The panel they speak of between the gas / brake pedals is just 'floating' in there. It should just lift out freely. Stick your fingers through the hole at the base of the brake peddle and lift up. It take a little finagling, but it will slide out without having to remove anything else.

PM me your email address and I can send you a manual that will help you with your cable adjustments and MUCH more. The throttle to governor and governor to carb cable adjustments are key to getting your cart to run at peak / safe performance regardless of governer setting.

thanks for the help everyone, it was the adustment underneath the panel, it was tight and everything, so i dont know if this hot weather might've made the cable change in size or something, but i loosened the cable a bit on the microswitch end and it's back to normal, thanks again
