Default G1 Exhaust Mod Request

Has anyone done a modification on their G1 exhaust? Now that I have the lift kit done and things are working, the exhaust isn't quite as bad but it still can be strong with the windshield up. I'd like to get it out the back instead of dumping right under the passenger side. Not sure what to use and if it will affect performance. Any thoughts?

A bit of information for all.
Once the factory and engineers have optimized a 2 cycle exhaust
any modifications beyond the stinger (tail pipe) that do not increase
back pressure are safe. Enlarge the extension and you will be good to go.

I know a guy his cart has a hole in the rocker with the pipe sticking out. Out the rear may not help it can come back around to you. I don't think I would chop the rocker but out the side into the airflow might be worth a try.

Anyone know where you can purchase flexible exhaust piping that will fit the Yamaha G1?

Not sure we bought the smallest they had at autozone for a clone install. NAPA may have it too. But you want it a little big anyway.

One guy also said napa had SS or galvanized stuff that would last longer? Might want to ask them (at napa).
