BUMP, reminder you have a project to show us. I have a G1, but your project might give me ideas.

The pressure!!!! I have school board tonight but will try to get the pics before or after it. I will probably post the pics and then re-post with the dimensions.

Mike Mac - I put on those HF lights like yours for the 4th celebration here in town. About blinded everyone I met. Not one person said they didn't see me coming.... wow!

Ya. They are too bright for street use. I was persuaded by (Highway patrol) to put another set (not so bright) on mine. So I got a small set of fog lights that are tucked up under the body so as not to show to much. They are black, so not to visible. I hate more crap on it, but... I can get you a picture if you like.

Want to see the whole car!!

I am STILL shopping for best deal on rims and tires. I'm offering you $100, shipping included, to my door for those old ratty rims and tires I see on yours..... That is a fair offer, right?

I also didn't realize there are lift kits out there other than Jake's. Any thoughts or hearsay regarding the other brands? I think All Sport is one of them? I really don't care as long as it won't leave me stranded in the back pasture.

I don't know from experience, but people on here say they have bent them. Anyway, my thought is they have too many moving parts to wear out, being an inexpensive kit. "The New Guy" is the one that convinced me jakes was the way to go. There is also a Jakes knock off out there, but I understand the tubing if very thin and bent/broken easily. A broken car is worth nothing. I built mine for safety, reliability and resale value.

I don't know, I get that offer at least twice a day!! And the tires ARE getting pretty ratty!
