Default troubleshooting

having trouble getting my ezgo to run. i received a hand me down thats been sitting for a few years. bought new batteries and still won't start. any advice would help.

Welcome to BGW!

We'll need some more information to help you troubleshoot...

How about starting off by identifying the year and model - look for the plate under (or in) the passenger side tray or footwell. Take a look at the stickies at the top of the forum for help with that. A couple of photos of the battery compartment and/or the whole cart would help, too.

Is the battery pack charging?
What is the total voltage (should be around 38V after a full charge and a rest period)?
Does the reverse beeper work when the key is on and the FNR switch is in reverse?
Do you hear a click when the key is on, the FNR switch in forward, and the pedal is depressed?

That'll help folks figure out what the problem is...

Well? We are waiting ..... Wait. ezmaui ... he won't be up for hours
Check out this chart and see which drive system you have too.
