Default gas cc will not go

Golf has been sitting for about 6 months. Put new fuel lines and filter in it cleaned carb. Now when i give it gas it goes no where. Belt is turning fuel seen up to carb. Need help. Not much experience with these

Just to answer this. We found the problem. Toom of the valve cover and one of the rods was sitting next to it. Put it back in and it moves now but still not right.
