medalist ezgo rear gear noise
Happy Thanksgiving to all. I just picked up this old medalist ezgo to fix up a lil bit but it had a bad bearing sound in the rear end. I have replaced all the bearings in the rear end and all the o-rings. Now when I run it I have this gear sound in the rear end. Almost like a gear whine and a lil clicking. Will not go away at all.Any ideas what it could be??? Also the spider gears are worn pretty good as well and the rear end had alot of back lash.

Maybe the rear end gears are worn, does it sound like they are worn? If you put your ear near the reaer end, and run the motor (on jackstands of course) does it sound like to rear end gears are making the noise?

It has a gear clicking low level sound
