Default 1991 club car

I just replaced my 1991 club car's crankcase, Head, and carburetor gaskets. After I put it back in it doesn't have as much torque and speed. Any ideas of what could be the problem. Thanks

Is the governor back on exactly as it was before? That will definitely affect your speed if you indvertently changed the adjustment during the engine work. If your governor is hooked up, disconnect the rod from the carburetor and see what she'll do.

Yeah. That's the governor rod. It runs from the carburetor butterfly to the transmission.
