Default spark issue

my 2002 club car DS is flooding out after it heats up, I initially thought I had a carb. problem. After further investigation I decided to test the spark. I tested the spark when it was cold and had a really good spark. I then ran the car until it flooded out and quit. I pulled the plug and tested the spark as soon as it quit and had no spark. I waited about 5 min. and turned the engine over again and had a very weak spark for about 3 secs. and then nothing. NEED HELP any would be grateful. Thanks!!!
