Ezgo txt wont go any help plz

Got a 01 txt with pds 36v been doing fine, today it would try to move could here a click when hitting the pedal then nothing turn the key on and off try again still tge same, then about 30 sec worked fine drove down the street and back couple miles all ok. This evening tried to drive it and its doing it again but wont fix this time. Thanks in advance

Oh batteries are fine only about a year old, holding 38.9 volts sitting in the yard

Check all the connections. Tug a little on each battery cable to make sure they're not loose or almost broken.

I hear them all the time talk about checking you Fn R switch if it's a series cart. But the reality is that the low amp side works if the solonoid clicks it's the high amp side that's not getting power to motor. Cables from battery, controller, FnR switch .

Ok update i found a loose wire on solenoid tightened it up, and the cart went down the road but when i stopped and switched to reverse it did it again put back in forward and got nothing but a click, turned key off and on switched from F to R and back to F then it took off again its got me stumped

Next time it happens, don't turn it off, just be certain the solenoid is clicking and the cart wont go. Then shift F&R hard and try to go. NO go? Try moving the lever slowly with a little gas pedal pressure. You don't want it to take off hard if it gets a connection.
If this makes the cart go (or try to go) try turning the 9/16ths center nut 1/2 turn tighter.

Ok i hear a click when it is doing this, but i dont have a lever i have a switch on the dash?

You have a pds and he assumed that you had a series cart. There is a nut on the center of a series cart FnR control

My bad. Okay the rocker switch may be corroded or going bad.
