Thanks Scottyb, I never considered that coasting could cause problems and knowing this now I will keep it under 20 just to be on the safe side. Besides I am not sure the stock brakes would take much more. I did adjust them and they are much better. Not to mention these carts don't feel to stable above that speed. it maybe the tires and my 330 lbs on top of it too!!

Nothing wrong with your sense of safety. The carts are initially designed for 12-14 mph. Once you double the speed they are pretty much max out ability wise.
