EZGO FSIP 400 amp Install question
I got 400 amp FSIP controller 1204-001 36v to install in my 2007 Series Ezgo. Also bought a 400 amp Solenoid from Unlimited after seeing how much he helps on this site. My current controller is a Curtis PMC P/N 25864G09 S/N 7037-P12638L. It has a 4 wire connector with White-Black-Orange-Red going into it. Wiring info I have found are with the Converter, which people say to stay away from. The other I found is 1Red-2Black-3White on FSIP controller, but that leaves the Orange wire that goes to the Direction switch not used.
Any help would be great, I'm at camp now with everything to install this weekend if I can. :) |

Re: EZGO FSIP 400 amp Install question
Unless the FSIP control has half speed reverse option the orange wire would not be used.

Re: EZGO FSIP 400 amp Install question
ok, so can I find out if it does with the serial number on the controller?
266276-409-3 Do I need to use the wire at all? I just don't want to screw the controller up by wiring something wrong. |

Re: EZGO FSIP 400 amp Install question
NO you do not need the half speed reverse wire connected to run. Just make sure it is taped up if it is going to be getting power from the F&R in reverse.

Re: EZGO FSIP 400 amp Install question
Ok, my guess is that if this controller had that function it would have a 4th terminal on the right side of the controller for the orange wire correct?

Re: EZGO FSIP 400 amp Install question
I wired everything according to this diagram. Solenoid clicks but no forward or reverse. Is this the wrong diagram for what I have?

Also have the 3 cart harness wires on left of Controller from top to bottom
Red Black White I got it used off of this site, my guess is the controller doesn't work. |

Re: EZGO FSIP 400 amp Install question
Just noticed you post about the ITS Scotty B, I couldn't find any info on it. You think that's the problem?
