TXT wiring issue
Newbie here. Installed new 4 gauge cables on my 2005 36V TXT today. Tried to do one wire at a time. Screwed up something. Solenoid does not click and no drive at all. Worked fine before the rewire, but 6 ga. cables were getting hot from high speed motor. Any ideas on what I hooked up wrong ? Pics of controller wired correctly might help as I think this is where I messed up.

Re: TXT wiring issue
use a volt meter and test the red line from start to end when you try to go. Where ever the power stops the trouble begins. Your power may start at battery main (+) fuse.

Re: TXT wiring issue
Thanks ScottyB,
I must have been tired and not thinking well yesterday. Easy fix. Found a wire off the F-R switch, must have knocked it off putting on the new 4ga. cables and overlooked it last night. Amazing what a little rest will do. |
