Battery Charger adapters, SB-50 to "D"?
Hello,
I'll start out by saying I'm new the whole golf cart game, but I'm having fun with my new (used) TXT. I just bought a DPI 36V charger with the Powerwise "D" connector for my '97 EZGO TXT. My buddy has an older, '92 EZGO Marathon that uses the SB-50 connecter. I looked online for an adaptor so he could use my charger as he is having some trouble with his. I was not able to find one, so I thought about buying a Powerwise D Receptacle (cart side), a SB-50 handle/plug and about a foot of cable. I'd simply plug my charger into the receptacle and then into his cart. Is there any reason this would not work? It seems pretty straight forward to me, but am asking only because I'm surprised no such adapter exists. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you. |
