Default Tires are hitting / Scrubbing on inner fender well

I just put 205/30-14 tires on my 2015 EZ-GO RXV non lifted golf cart. Everyone said they would fit fine. But when you turn left or right the rear wheels are scrubbing on the inner fender well. Am I missing something?

no you aren't.....what it all depends on is the actual wheels you mounted the tires on. It depends on their offset/backspacing. a very easy solution would be to just get some spacers to put behind the wheels. Just get the smallest ones you can, such that the tires won't rub any more. just do a google search for wheel spacers you will find plenty of them.

As I recall, a little trimming of the inner fender well is necessary. I can't tell you specifically how to do it as mine came from the dealer already done. 225/30-14's on mine. no issues. Do you have a back seat and have the springs been upgraded for the extra weight? Spacers shouldn't be necessary. Interesting it only does it while turning.

I carve out the small inner section of the rear fender wells, on every rxv that i install 14" tires on. If i don't trim it, it will rub, like it sounds like youes are doing.

I use a dremel or roto zip to carve out these areas.

Thank you for your help. I can see the small inner section you are talking about. I'm going to remove the back tires tonight and crave it out.
