Default No improvement after battery cable upgrade

I just finished upgrading the battery cables on my 2011 TXT to 2awg cables and didnt really notice any difference on hills. is there something else i should be upgrading also? from everything i have read that simple upgrade should have netted a little bit of difference. Thanks for any and all help!

If your old cables were in good shape they should have been adequate for the OEM controller. Hence no noticeable improvement. CHange the controller out to XCT400TXT48 and you will have a NEW CART>

How old are your batteries? Unless your cables were very undersized and you have already upgraded your controller, you won't notice a significant improvement with a wires upgrade.

Batteries are only a year old. Going to have to think about dropping the coin for a controller now.

Thanks. I'll start thinking about the controller. Was hoping I would see at least some improvement with this. The cart does 19-20 on flat land but drops to 14-15 going up hill. It will also slow it self down from 20 to around 17 going down hill. Will a new controller solve that for me?

I can promise you will not be disappointed in the performance. This cart is FUN with a controller upgrade. Those hills will melt away

Your present speed is very good for a stock controller.

You can set the rpm limit as high as you like. At 6000 rpm the cart goes about 24mph.

Will that allow the cart to maintain the speed better on an incline?
