Re: Another ezgo wont go
Okay so the solenoid is engaging.
Is the controller lighting up ? What color is the LED? And does the SW202 click when you shift? When you try to go? |

Re: Another ezgo wont go
Yes the solenoid clicks and engages . When the solenoid engages the controller light blinks green 4 times then continuous green when full throttle turns amber.
The sw202 contact engages ( clicks) when forward or reverse is selected. A little more info not sure if it will help but my wife was the last to drive it, she said she put the cart in forward and it shuttered a little. And she then put it in reverse and the same a little shutter now it does nothing. Thanks |

Re: Another ezgo wont go
Dead battery or failed battery cable or cable connection somewhere.
Put a battery meter on the pack and tell us what the voltage is, now watch the meter while somebody tries to go...... what does the battery voltage drop to? |

Re: Another ezgo wont go
Pack voltage reads 50.9v on dvm it does not change when the pedal is pressed, it remains 50.9. Thanks

Re: Another ezgo wont go
failed cable or cable connection? Failed motor? Failed Reversing contactor?
Failed throttle signal test = does green LED turn amber/orange when full throttle is applied? I'm guessing because I have not seen the cart, one picture of the cart, or the installs and so much needs to be eliminated as the problem source. See contactor test below. Contactor test may be used to test main solenoid also with the pre-charge resistor removed first. |

Re: Another ezgo wont go
Ok Mr Scottyb I took the cover off of the top of the motor so I could see it good. I got full pack voltage to the motor.
I also found that the s1 cable has been rubbing on the s2 terminal and wore through and been arcing. So I took all the cables off and checked the motor read .7 ohms between s1 and s2. I had no reading no continuity between a1 and a2. So I'm assuming my motor is shot? Thanks for all yalls help so far |

Re: Another ezgo wont go
That makes sense. Thank you for doing more digging on your end. Time for some new cables and a motor.
