Why don't you give the guy who helped you figure out what was wrong a call. I would bet he could help you with a good reliable controller.

Get a multi meter and put it on Diode Test setting that will allow it to BEEP when you touch the two leads together. Disconnect all four wires from the motor. Let me know what you find.
I am having the same problem. I checked the motor like this and everything is like you said except when I check A1 A2. I dont show continuity between them. I did previously just the motor though and it did run.
