Default PDS Run/Tow switch

I am only getting battery voltage from pin 1 of the J3 run/tow switch. Pin 2 will show voltage when switched on but pin 3 and 4 have nothing. Obviously the power is being suppled by the controller but I assume the power is related to another thing along the way? This all started when I was working around the dash/key switch area and now I have a dead cart.

The voltage is just fed through the controller to the Run/Tow switch. The source of that voltage is the reed switch in the charge receptacle. (Smaller of the three wires.) Enters controller on J1 Pin4.

Here is a drawing showing the voltage path(s) through a stock PDS controller

Thanks! I assume the controller is bad but I want to make sure whatever caused it to go bad is fixed before I hook up a new one! This will help.

I know this is an old thread but diagnosing a 07 pds have full battery voltage everywhere on run tow switch except pin 2 I only have 1.2 volts. I'm guessing that means the run tow switch is shot. looking for other input thank you

All 4 should have pack voltage when the switch is on.
