Default Would this charger work?

Looking to upgrade my 92 marathon to 48v. Would this charger work once I change the charge plug? Thanks

Would not work well. Yes it could be made to work by jumping around the relay, but it would be totally manual. You would have to stand there and babysit it. Better to get one that has its own "brain". That Powerdrive is designed to work with a Club Car OBC (on Board Computer).

Even when 'jumpered' to get the charger to come on it will only put out full power, not the 3 stage algorithm needed for a complete charge so the answer is no, it will not work.
Find one from Ezgo or Yamaha or post 2014 Club Car aka Eric. Also there are plenty of aftermarket chargers out there but don't be fooled by too good to be true prices. The pack needs 18-20 amps for proper charging.
Hope this helps

I have read there is an add-on available for that charger to convert it but that would double the cost and by then you could buy a newer smart charger with 20 amps.
