Default ezgo rxv

will a 1206ac 5211 controller work instead of a 1206ac 5201?

If your asking if the 1206AC-5201 can be replaced with a 1206AC-5211 the answer is yes.

I do believe the 5211 takes a 48v solenoid.

thank you again ; it did have a 5201 when I bought it , it was fried. the one I bought it from said the brakes were locking up and they had cut a bunch of wires. I have put the wires back and have a 5211 .wanted to make sure about it and the wiring difference if any.

It will work but make sure you replace solenoid to a 48v one. And just make sure your wiring is right you don't want to blow another controller.
