Battery Issues - Club Car
I recently noticed that my digital battery meter just shows 3 lines (- -.-v) Instead of a reading (ex 52.0v). I tested each battery which are Trojan 8V T-875's and they each read 11.5V. This is really high and I do not know why. The cart has been unplugged for over 1 week and I even drove around the hood. I tested again and still 11.4, 11.5 for all 6. Plates look great fluid level is great, no idea what would have caused this.
I have a 2011 Club Car IQ and a PowerDrive 3 charger. What do you think the issue may be? I called Trojan and he said if it is the OBC that he recommended I buy an OBC Bypass charger instead of a new OBC. He said the only job the OBC was good for was counting charges for warranty reasons. Re: Battery Issues - Club Car
Battery meter probably died. I had one fail. When I turned the key on it would read the correct voltage for 2 seconds then quickly rise to 99.9 and then show the 3 lines.
