Default EZGO TXT PDS - Controller or ITS??

Cart: 2007 Ez-Go TXT PDS 36v (factory components)

Cart would sporadically die when running, then come back on w/in 5 seconds. Then, charger broke and batteries died. After several months, I replaced all batteries and fixed the charger, but cart would not come on. Solenoid not clicking, but reverse beep did sound when F/R switch on "R". After reading forums for help and basic diagnostics, I replaced the solenoid, but it's still not working.

This is what I get... Nothing happens when I press the accelerator. No solenoid click. No reverse beep when F/R switch is on "R". (Was previously working.)

These are my jumper voltage readings on the controller (1206MX).
Readings with Key On, Fwd Direction.
Pack Voltage 38.8v

J1
1 38.8
2 0.0
3 38.8
4 38.8
6 38.5
7 38.8
8 38.8
9 38.8
10 38.8

J4
1 (G) 0.0 **Goes to 38.6 when accelerator pressed**
2 (R) 38.6
3 blank
4 (W) 3.78 **No change when accelerator pressed**

J5
1 (B) 0.0
2 (W) 0.1
3 (R) 3.6

Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rg

Oops. I didn’t see it.
J4 Pin 3 reads 0.481. Goes to 0.515 gradually as the accelerator is depressed.

J4 Pin-4 ought be about 15V. Bad connection or bad controller

Attached is ITS checkout for a PDS cart.

Ok. So that we're down to connections or controller, please verify the connections I need to double check. Molex at J4, connections to the ITS and micro switch... Anywhere else? Is there a molex outside of the ITS box that cannot be seen from the floorboard access?

Am I correct in assuming that, as long as J4 pin 1 goes from 0.0 to 38.6 when the micro switch clicks, that it is working correctly? The solenoid does not activate when the micro switch clicks. Is it the inductive sensor that activates the solenoid?

**Also, I unplugged the J4 molex and checked pin 4 on the controller. It reads 3.78v. I assume this should be in the 15v range?**

Would any of this explain why the reverse buzzer does not sound, or does that suggest another problem?

Thank you!

Only getting 3.78V on J4 Pin-4 with the cable disconnected indicates the 15V power supply inside the controller has bit the dust, so you need to replace the controller.

One side of the beeper is connected to B+ 100% of the time and the controller connects B- to the other side when the beeper is supposed to sound. I'm not sure if the beeper driver is powered by same power supply or not, but whatever powers it appears to be bad also.

Replace it with an Alltrax XCT48400 or larger. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/alltrax-xct-sepex--.html

Thank you. Is there a thread with details on that controller, and what I need to replace in the cart if I get it?
