2006 EZGO TXT Brakes

Hi, I need to replace the brakes shoes in my 2007 EZGO TXT. It has a lift kit and big wheels/tires so braking has never been the best. The pads are worn. Are there brake shoes to buy that perform better then others....ie have more stopping power?

Also there seems to be a wide range of prices for the same shoes. Why is that? Are some better than others?
I think the EZGO part number for the shoes is 70794-G01
