It is coded to work with the software in the Alltrax Tool Kit and to work with your controller...

You get the RMA# from Alltrax Customer Support, but then it would have to be removed and boxed up and shipped back to Alltrax. Trust me, that is much more of a difficult and time consuming job if it is in the stock location then me and you doing it over the phone. Not sure if your installer ran a USB cable out from the controller for you, but if not, we need to hook you one up. If you want your installer to do this, have him call me at the number I gave you or send me his number and I will call him and walk him through what/how to do it...

Map installation is so easily done with a loptop and the Alltrax Tool Kit.

NolrFan4Ever,

I got your phone number, Thank-you.

I installed everything except the motor and batteries (and MCOR). They where too heavy for me to handle. Everything else seems to be done and by me.
Tires and wheels. 4inch lift kit. Rear progressive springs. Controller. Solenoid and 2ga wires. 3 position kids switch. Volt meter.

Here is my game plan. I am gonna buy a cheap lap top (don't know which one yet) from Walmart. Going to buy a cheap GPS. Buy a "A" to "B" cable.
Then I'm gonna learn windows "10". Learn how to use the GPS. Have the batteries charged up and disconnected. Cart jacked up........ then call you.

Sounds good. I bought a 15.6" Windows 10 laptop off Walmart.com for $189.00 with free shipping for my dad and one for my daughter. Excellent machines and cheap to get into.

Here is a 11.6" for $129.00 but I am not sure about free shipping or not.

And you really do not need a GPS if you have a smart phone or one of your family members do. There are free speed apps everywhere you can download.

Happy camper, well almost.

My brother wanted to try downloading the correct motor map and program the controller. So we went at it with his laptop. After many tries, (not 5 minutes)
we got it except I only got 2 speeds not 3 out of the mode lock 3 key switch.

Alltrax thinks the switch is bad? Sent an E-Mail to Scottyb, but they are not open till tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who helped me. Hats off to you NoleFan4Ever.

Did get 26mph out of that motor!!

Nothing wrong with that....

And to change maps is 5 mins, to play around with the FNKS (3-way switch) can be as long as you want to play with it...

Yes your right, the motor map download was quick.

Where the time was spent was trying to program the 3 position key switch.

I guess if we had called you it would have went smoother but with a bad switch we couldn't get the speeds right. So we were chasing a unknown. Learned a lot!

Scottyb e mailed me and is going to help me on the switch. Just have to take it out and mail it to him.

No more test rides...... snowing like crazy. You remember that stuff??
