94 ezgo marathon Alltrax controller with reverse contactor problem

Just installed a new contactor from Scottyb. I have the user control with an alltrax sr 500. The two potentiometer wires go to the j4 throttle on the controller but where do the other 2 wires go that came from the forward reverse switch to the potentiometer? I cant find anything in the instructions telling me where they go. I have everything hooked up but those two wires and it runs great but the user control doesn't work at all.

The 2 wires that went from the pot to the F&R switch reduce the pot signal by 50% when they are connected to each other. You can continue to use this function with the new SR control since it actually reduces the throttle signal for slower reverse action.

Ok. But where would they go on the new reverse contactor?
