Brakes feel weird after lift kit
So I put my 6” lift kit on and now the brakes feel terrible.
I’ve read a bunch of threads but wanted to start one based on my specific issue. The cables were long enough, even though I had to pull the slack through. Before the lift, the brake would lock like at 10% stroke of the pedal, now it doesn’t get hard until like 50% but they don’t lock. 2004 Club Car DS |

Re: Brakes feel weird after lift kit
Is there any adjustment left to tighten them up?

Re: Brakes feel weird after lift kit
What size tires did you put on it? Bigger tires = harder to brake

Re: Brakes feel weird after lift kit
You can try adjusting them a bit more but what you have now is probably as good as you’ll get. The only way up from there is adding front discs.
