Mooncarter is referring to the charger. Let it run.

Ahhhh duh, i did that with the obc connected. Measured voltage while charger read 8amps and it read 50.2v. Same as if no charger connected. Could the obc read batteries near full and put charger into maintain mode?

Thanks Goober. Never thought otherwise. Nothing else should be running.

Let it run (the charger). As Nole said, when it gets to around 63 volts turn it off. You only let it run 4 hours. Check the voltage.

Your OBC is not working (and bypassed) and I'm not sure about the needle on your charger either. Check the voltage while charging.

And after of course.

I have the obc hooked back up and i dont hear the charger kicking in. I will most likely eliminate the obc and just charge it by checking voltage.

Only for the interim of course until you either replace the OBC or buy a smart charger.

(Will ruin the pack otherwise)

The cart runs, left charger on with obc hooked up while at work (8hrs)and voltage never changed from 50.1v. Same as yest. Obc looks to be 300, i would rather put that towards the lithium setup since batteries are already 4yrs old. Ill by a digital voltmeter to permanently mount so i can watch the voltage in the mean time.

To bypass the obc, i cut the black and gray wire from charge port and grounded it to battery #6. Did i miss anything. Thanks for your help

You cut them from the harness side which is going to the OBC. The Black supplies the Neg and the Grey supplies the "sense" for the charger relay inside. The Grey will not be needed with a smart charger. Only with a Powerdrive unit.
