Starter/Generator issue?
1996 EXGO I get 12.4 volts at rest.. When I engage the motor will get 14.5-14.74 volts. at the battery.
When i connect meter neg- to battery and pos+ to solenoid post i get same readings when motor runs will get it up to full speed. Cart will run fine at first but as time in the round goes on or if i drive without stops for say 15 minutes, the the starter wont start. If i push the pedal to start it will sometimes not crank and must let it set for a minute... iS IT POSSIBLE THE STARTER /GENERATOR IS STARTING TO GO BAD OR IS THAT START/GENERATOR SOMETHING THAT GOES OUT TOTALLY? Thanks in advance |
