2005 Gas ezgo no reverse
It started having trouble engaging in reverse every now and then, now won't engage at all, just revs like in neutral. I've tried adjusting the linkage with no success. Has anyone experienced something internally breaking in the diff? Was hoping for an easy fix before breaking open the rear diff. Thanks

Look at your transaxle where the forward reverse lever is. See if you can manually lock it into the reverse position. Sometimes those cables stretch and or break. If you manually lock it into reverse and you still have nothing....then you might be looking at internal damage. But let's start there.

Thanks, since my post I found the cable sleeve under the front seat was damaged allowing the cable to not work properly. New one just came in today so will replace.
