87 ezgo Marathon fuel check valve?
I am working on getting this 87 ezgo going before i pay for it. I got it to fire up and run for a few seconds on starting fluid. i think the fuel pump is bad but want to replace fuel filter and lines first. Im not sure what it is thats after the fuel pump and before the carb? Advice plz thanks everyone

It looks like one of those little red plastic fuel filters. Some carts have two filters. I have no idea why.
Post 22. Use the 85 manual for the carburetor, and the 88 manual for the wiring. Everything else is the same. https://buggiesgonewild.com/showthre...=105501&page=3 |

Ok I thought the same thing but wasn't sure. Would I assume if I need a new carb I would go with one for a 85 as well?

Yes. 88 is the only one that is different. You are always better off cleaning the original. The aftermarket carbs are junk.

Hope a good cleaning fixes everything. You may be looking at crankshaft seals.
