2005 Ezgo PDS - Won't Go
Hi All - I hope you can help with our problem. Our cart was working fine until the beginning of the summer. One day we went to take it for a ride and it would not go. Completely dead, no click from the solenoid, batteries fully charged. Would not go reverse or forward.
We took it to the repair shop - they tried a new controller, forward and reverse switch, pedal box micro switch, solenoid, ignition switch, and checked the wiring. We thought we had the problem fixed so we picked it up. Loaded it on the trailer under its own power got home and when we went to take it of the trailer it was dead. That same day took it to another golf shop and they had to push it of the trailer. Next morning they go to check on it and the mechanic wants to know what the problem was as it was running fine. One thing we have noticed is that we seem to have this problem when the temp is 95 degrees or above. Also, when we have the problem if we raise the seat and turn the tow maintenance switch to off for a minute or so then then back on - it goes fine until you stop. Due to the fact that the solenoid does not click I think the problem if prior to the soleniod - Is that a good assumption? Please Help! Any suggestions on what the problem could be? Thank you. |

Re: 2005 Ezgo PDS - Won't Go
Sounds like a bad connection in the control wiring. Make sure the throttle is all the way off, check the key switch, look for loose wires and tug on all the connections.
Next time it doesn't work, start by wiggling the wiring to pinpoint your problem. If you have a meter and the ability to use it, it will be much easier to find your problem. |

Re: 2005 Ezgo PDS - Won't Go
Not going to bellieve this - a few days after my last post - cart would not go again. We took it to the shop - the only thing left to replace was the trottle sensor. So replaced that and so far so good - still running. Hope this takes care of the problem.
