OK, Crazy question I know.
I bought a used golf cart... It has a lift kit, it is a 48V system. The serial number is in this format: LRGGE501A60009xx Can someone help me determine what brand this thing is? It has DEKA Promaster batteries.... any help will be greatly appreciated... thanks.. |

Looks like a ruff & tuff or a bad boy buggie.

Re: What Brand Gold Cart did I buy?
Definately a China product - A copy of an EZGO. Is it 2 or 4 wheel drive?

Looks to be either an EZGO PDS that someone turned into a hunter or an older Ruff & Tuff. Still could be a Star, Fairplay or another EZGO knockoff brand.

Re: What Brand Gold Cart did I buy?
More info.. and I do agree about the ez-go look alike.. from what I can tell, the rear basket and the front brushguard/winch mount are from ez-go.
It came with a Lester 48v Automatic SCR Battery Charger. The charger build date is 0907. I guess I am trying to find out what model/manufacture it is so I can maybe get a book or something on it. I need a key, as it was missing and it is in the off position right now. My lights and horn don't work and before trying to rewire, I wanted to try and find out where I can get a key, among other things. |

Re: What Brand Gold Cart did I buy?
It's is NOT an EZGO cart, nor are the baskets. The front strut mounts above the front cowl, more like a Yamaha and Club Car. The controls are not EZGO either. It is an EZGO knock off, with exceptions. Whatever it is, hope you got a good buy and that you can get her running

Re: What Brand Gold Cart did I buy?
it is a 2 wheel drive and she runs great... the mounts on the front looks like the ezgo's I had stopped and looked like yesterday at a dealer...then I had found the same guard online for an ezgo.
It there anywhere else I can look to find the manufacturer?... I can't find a brand name on anything except the charger... |
