Re: Stereo Install Complete - Help
Completed Product... Sounds great. The spacers gave the 6x9's some air to push.

Re: Stereo Install Complete - Help
Don't connect two outputs of the radio to the same speakers unless the instruction sheet specifies that the outputs are "bridgeable".

FireAtWill,
How in the world did you shoehorn that radio head unit into the golf ball holder area? Do you have any other photos of the installation? |

Re: Stereo Install Complete - Help
Its pretty simple....just cut out what you have and then fit it. You may (or will) have to cut more, but just cut a little at a time until it fits snug!
Good luck |

Re: Stereo Install Complete - Help
I don't have pics of the install but if you cut out the bottom and the sides it fits very securely. Might have to wiggle it in and adjust the depth but it actually fits well. I left the "tounge" up top as it actually puts a nice amount of pressure on the top of the unit. Just cut until the sleeve fits securely and then wire and slide the unit into the sleeve.

Re: Stereo Install Complete - Help
Boy I'm apprehensive about cutting into the dash like this. You wouldn't want to take a vacation and come down to the border and do it for me would you?
Thanks for the information. |

Just grab a Dremmel tool and go to work... It is really easy. I didn't use the baffles because I mounted my speakers with 1.5 inch spacers and cut holes only large enough for the magnets to stick through. From the battery compartment all you see is the back of the magnets sticking through. FAW |
