Re: golf cart broke
you overeved the motor and the armature came apart. you now need a motor. factory motors are not meant to be reved that how. You overreved it by freewheeling downhill. There is a pic on here where one of my customers carts hit the highway at 55 mph.
remove the motor and look at the armature, i bet it in in pieces. |

Re: golf cart broke
you shouldn't need a diagram it's pretty simple..
first things first. if you have a run/tow switch make sure it's set to tow. remove the + & - cables from the main battery pack. make sure your cables going to the motor are marked (S1,S2,A1,A2)so you know what post's they go back on to on the new motor. remove the 3 bolts holding the motor on. swap motor's and reverse the steps. shouldn't take long at all. |

Re: golf cart broke
Sometimes they come right off, other times you got to us (CAREFULLY) a torch...
Please - I'm not suggesting the torch just yet - But take your time, the motor is evidently stuck on the input shaft... |
