Re: Help with Speed/Power
the strand count is important... and the coverings ability to withstand an acidic environment

Re: Help with Speed/Power
Gas charged shocks will have an oposing effect when compressed as well as coil over shocks hence the spring. A regular shock has no rebound effect and relies on the weight of the wheel assembly to return it to its static position.

Re: Help with Speed/Power
No gears are changed, the motor simply spins in the opposite direction due to a polarity change. Speed in reverse will be same as forward unless "half speed reverse" is active, OR, there is a problem in the system somewhere.

Re: Help with Speed/Power
I hope you find the problem so I can hopefully fix mine. It's doing the same thing. Punchy and fast reverse, slow as a turtle in forward. I'll keep watching!

Re: Help with Speed/Power
Yes, I know. What I was trying to say is some Manufacturers don't follow the AWG standard. They might advertise it as 4 gauge but it may or may not be. It's important to know the this because its real easy to just look at a cable and mistake it for a particular gauge based on the overall size. We've seen it on here...some guy thought he bought 4 gage or some guy told him it was 4 gauge when it wasn't. Look on Ebay and there is cable there with 3 or 4 layers of insulation. (china made and since when did china use the America Wire Gauge standard to make cable....) Like the HD 4 gauge jumper cables I bought from wally world....they LOOKED like 4 gauge and were advertised as 4 gauge when in fact they were 10 at best. You have to watch what your buying. Only an EDUCATED consumer can be sure he's getting the right stuff. Hopefully, he's a little more educated after this.
