G-man...if he runs 48 vollts he would have to upgrade the controller. He has 07 batts so I didn't think he would want to buy more batts so soon.

I ordered the wire set from EZGO. Ill prob upgrade the controller too. And see how that works...

I hope so...I have little faith in a stock motor/alltrax on 36 volts. I have done that and wasn't very impressed. That why I said it might not do it. Going to 48 volts though it will do it.

The stock motor on 48v should give 25-30 torque increase... that should pull the hills... He could add 2 batteries?

A Altrax AXE 4844 and two more batteries in the bag well after the 4ga wire upgrade would be sweet!
