Yep we have a meter... Someone had rewired the lights and has installed a toggle switch on the dash. It looks as if they are wired directly to the battery with an inline 25 amp fuse. The inline wires are different gauge also. Electrical is not our strong point...

THe most common mistake we see when people start adding lights and accesories on an electric golf cart is a frame ground. An electric cart NEVER uses a FRAME GROUND so each light will have a POS and NEG wire running to it.
Post the digital pack voltage here and reading for each battery like this.
Pack = 36.34v
battery1= 6.08
battery2= 6.18
ecetera

If just recharged.... These readings must be taken atleast 1 hr after the charger has shut off.....
Save and print this chart for reference and comparison.

Since this is a Western cart do they have different schmatics, manuals, wiring diagrams than an EZGO? See I told you we are totally clueless!!! but then again thats why we have wonderful people like you to help us!

Basically western purchased running ezgo chassis, and put their own body and accessories on them. I dunno if Western ever produced a wiring diagram of their own.. a google search or check at vintagegolfcarts.com might find out. But for all practical applications you can use a mid 80s resistor cart Ezgo diagram from the top of this ezgo electric section .....
