I was told they both had Brand new batteries as within the last 6 months he said. The cables all looked clean and the posts had zero sign of corrosion. Both had Jakes kits on them but not sure what type and not sure about the springs.

Ron,

Like Mike had mentioned the Lipstick, these carts sound nice 'looking' but really, more like alot of window dressing.

It's the mechanical stuff you don't see or, don't know about when you get the carts that costs ya.

To learn about motors, look at some of the sponsors sites. You can then read about the differences of speed Vs. torque motors, shunt wound motors, etc.

On the controllers, look at the different amperages available and then decide on your particular application and needs.

On suspension, decide if you have to have the lift, then plan the execution of what you need.

It's really just like building a drag car. You figure out how fast you want to go and then.......you spend all the money to get the parts to support getting it there.

Spend all the money is an understatement. Thanks again guys. I am going to slow down on the purchase a little and look at a few more.

I want to say that this doesn't add up! There's no way this cart can have all this new stuff listed AND new batteries and get sold for that amount. No way, No how - Add it up yourself

Yeah Mike, my brain is tired from looking stuff up and it seems that the cart should cost more for sure. I might still look at them again but not sure what I am going to do. I can't verify the Batteries or atleast I don't think I can (they look new), but those add-on (lights, wheel covers, tires, back seat, windshield)were most definetly new as there honestly isn't a mark on them and the paint was the same. At first I thought it was a great deal, but now it seems to good to be trus so that worries me. I can't say thanks enough for pointing these things out folks.

Now he did tell me that he isn't making much at all and both of these carts were originally priced about 500-700 more, but he has too many carts and they aren't moving especially since winter is coming.
