cart runs fine, but two wires are unplugged?
i just purchased this 2000 ezgo series 36 volt cart and it runs fine, but after looking under the seat i found two wires both female that are not plugged into anything... the first one is right on the back of the charger receptacle
(white in color).. the second one (red in color) looks to plug into the back of the solenoid? It looks like what could be a little buzzer? Dunno, but i did not want to plug it in and frie something so I left it alone for now. any input is appreciated. |

Re: cart runs fine, but two wires are unplugged?
The white one is from your reed switch, and if the cart runs, it is bypassed, just make sure the charger is disconected before you take off. Its a safety device so the do not take off with your charger pluged in. don't need it. The other wire goes to your backup alarm, the little buzzer, Plug it in or not. Don't need for the cart to run. Unpluged for the noise.
