LOL, well there just is nothing more frustrating than a battery SOC meter that's always 'full' That was my complaint with the Curtis bar meters....

Like I said, when the pack is down to 36v, the needle is pointing at the black divider between green and white. When charging, the needle is 2/3 through the white. When I get to work in the morning, the needle is at 1/3 in the white. It will slowly descend throyghour the day. My batteries are less than a year old, so they are barely seasoned. I imagine as they age, the meter will not display so far in the white.
And yes, that meter looks just like the one I have, Scotty. I suppose I could pull it apart and recalibrate it manually, but why? As long as I know how much juice is in there, I don't really care where it's pointing.

That's fine if you want to deal with it ... but I'm sure my customers would complain if my meter read like that.

It sounds to me like maybe you have a 24v meter try connecting it to just 4 or 5 of your batteries.

I never really considered that... I just chalked it up in the " nature of the beast" column. Maybe if I get some down time, I'll give that a shot...
