wheel spacers??
I am considering putting spacers on my non-lifted 96 DS so that I can put on a more aggressive tire. Has anyone had a bad experience with the stud type spacers? I only want to go about an inch wider, may 1 1/2. Also, does anyone have advice about the largest tire that will work on an unlifted DS?

Re: wheel spacers??
Many sponsor sites will show wheel/tire combos for non-lifted carts . . . and spacers . . .

Re: wheel spacers??
I'm sure the studs would be fine for what you are intending to do, as long as you use aluminum wheels. Steel tends to flex and eventually crack where the studs meet the wheel, too small of a footprint.
Here's one of my all time favorite pics from this forum posted by Ruredy, and yes those are studs on his cart........ "one time wheelie king, Hipshot on his wheelie poppin electric beast" Sorry, can't help with the max tire size, I'm sure someone else will chime in. |
