Reverse the white and black wires on the rear-most micro switch and see what it does. If you lose forward, but re-gain reverse you'll need to replace/bypass the half-speed resistor. It's located about 6" deep into the wire loom attached to those same black and white wires.

That's a sneaky place to put it!

Sounds like you need to replace your F&R switch. Take it off and inspect the contact, front and back. You'll have to remove it to see the front ones. One of them is likely burnt/melted.

So I am having similar issues except that when I bypass the 1/2 speed resistor, the cart works in forward and reverse 100% of the time.

When I connect wires to microswitch 3, I have intermittent reverse. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all and sometimes there may be up to a 15 second delay before reverse kicks in.

I replaced 1/2 speed resistor and get same results.

Please help!
