Newbie Charging Question
I have just purchased a used CC Presedent and I have a question regarding charger/charging. The cart seems to only stay powered for 5 miles or so and when I plug in the charger the meter goes past 15 and stays there , when I check it after a few hours the charger is off and the needle is on 0.
Is this normal? I'm not sure I'm getting a full charge or is there a problem with batteries or charger? Thank you! |

Re: Newbie Charging Question
no thats not normal.....are they 8 volt or 12 volt batteries? it sounds like either a battery as an enternal short or something is wired wrong............i would go over the wiring on cart and test each battery and load test each one.......does the needle slowly drop from 15 amps or does it just fall and charger shut off?? and no 2 hours is no where near enough charging time so if this just started something happened i would suspect a battery.....not because of the age but something else..................................
