Default 36 volt resistor to 48 or 72 v controler?

I need batterys for a 1991 resistor cart with 6 in lift , I want a alltrax 4844 and go 8 volt batterys I will need a charger , So I thought 72 volts would be cool I need a charger any way ... Will the 36 volt motor live or not?

The motor will be fine on 48V. 72, I don't know about. As for the resistor for the solenoid, you will need a 470Ω for 48V and again, don't know for the 72V.

It will not. You'd have to go to the 7234 or 7245 or one of the SPM's.

Ok so I will stick to the 48 volt plan, BUT would there be any advantage to 72 volts and limit the controler to 56v or so (with 36v motor) , more runtime??
The cart is ethier loaded going up hills slow or wide open on flat roads......
