Default 1994 Club Car Accelorater Problems

Ok so I have to turn to you'll because I cant figure this one out. I just bought this 36 volt 94 Cub Car cart that wants to go all the time even with the pedal depressed all the way. When I look at the v-glide, with pedal wide open, the wiper arm is half way past the last copper pad, and if you let off easy it only returns to middle of the 1st and 2nd pad. You have to kinda stomp the gas pedal so it comes back hard to return to the 1st pad. There is already a return spring on the pedal. The gas pedal is sloppy as the bolt has been lose for year and it will not tighten all the way, bolt broke. Can this be part of the problem or maybe the new v-glide was not installed right. Are the settings for the things. Thanks guys

Specs I have found are full throttle should have the arm sitting dead center on last pad,......off throttle, there's a lttle built in stopper in the vglide body and the the arm should sit .100 of an inch off of that, not touching it.....good luck with that.......on mine I sit splitting the 2nd and third pad, just a liitle touch on the pedal kicks in the solenoid and off I go ( I have no idea what the first pad is for :( )

thanks for the reply, I never could figure that problem out but the guy I sold it to didn't care.

Now I have a 94 CC, and seems like it kinda slows or dies a little going up a small hill, fully charged brand new batteries. On level ground when you get on the gas pedal it seems like it takes forever to get wide open????
