Need advice on wiring a charger
Need some advice on this before I attempt it. I have heard it can be done and I have been searching this forum but cannot find exactly what I'm looking for.
I recently converted a 1993 CC DS from 36 to 48v. I was given (free) a DPI Power Force Series charger that had a round, 3 prong plug. My cart requires the crowsfoot. I have the crowsfoot plug and cable. The crowsfoot cable has 2 wires (black and white). The charger has the additional red and white wires coming from what appears to be a sensor in the back of the charger. Anyone ever done this? Where do I run the red and the white wire in side the charger? Any further re-wiring required? Any help is appreciated. |

Re: Need advice on wiring a charger
DPI makes 2 versions of that particular charger.
One works with the CC OBC only One is a stand alone charger. You should figure out which one you have before you proceed. Maybe a close inspection or quick search for the serial/model # will do it? |
